Eating Disorder
The Eating Disorder Unit at St Patrick's Hospital was established over 15 years ago and caters for people with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Binge Eating Disorders. While eating disorders mainly affect females, this multi-disciplinary facility caters for both male and females and offers the client a combination of psychiatry, psychotherapy, occupational therapy, psychology, dietetics and family therapy. The core content of the programme is continually modified based on client requirements, feedback, clinical experience and research advances.St Patrick's Hospital and its Eating Disorder Programme has been accredited by the Mental Health Act Commission in Ireland, ensuring high standards in the delivery of mental health services.
