The Multi-Disciplinary Team

The Multi-Disciplinary Team
The St Patrick's Hospital dual Diagnosis Tea has a wide range of experience. The team consists of a consultant psychiatrist, two registrars in psychiatry and four dual diagnosis therapists, including specialist nurses. Members of the team also include psychologists, family therapists and occupational therapists, depending on individuals needs.

The Consultant Psychiatrist for the dual diagnosis programme and the Programme Director is Dr. Conor Farren. He has a background in research into advances in treatment of addictive disorders and is a pioneer in the development of dual diagnosis treatment internationally and at St Patrick's Hospital.

The dual diagnosis therapists have a background in mental health nursing and addiction psychotherapy and have played a fundamental role in the establishments and development of the dual diagnosis programme.
